Invoices in a foreign currency

In Norman you can issue invoices in currencies other than the euro, for example US dollars. The chosen currency appears on the invoice.

Conversion for bookkeeping

For bookkeeping and tax, the amount is converted to euros at the relevant rate. Norman records the rate as of the invoice date.

What to watch for

• For customers in the EU or non-EU countries, reverse charge may apply
• Payment may arrive at a different rate — the exchange difference is booked
